THE POWER OF A PAUSE

Never underestimate the power of a purposeful pause. There's no better time to step away from your day to day grind and hit a reset button with a retreat in Cape Town.  A yoga retreat is your time to reset, enhance your practice and (dis)connect in a beautiful part of the world. The routine is simple; yoga, eating, free time and optional activities

An immersion of relaxation and unplugging from daily life and indulge in yoga, delicious food and time to replenish and refill your cup. If it is your intention to unwind and disconnect, become stronger, ignite your practice or take it further, while discovering a beautiful part of South Africa this retreat is for you

Time to rejuvenate and energise your body and mind, improve your yoga practice, feel inspired, reset and recharge, laugh and experience this magical place. Daily yoga sessions, delicious food, mini wellness sessions, glass of wine shared with others or non alcoholic drinks, this is time for you, to just be. â€‹The retreats are entirely focused on you. Bring a friend, a family member, or just yourself

Morning dynamic yoga session with meditation, breath work. Followed by a delicious breakfast

Time for yourself,  to just be – to swim, have a massage, go to the beach, finally have time to read that good book or simply sleep. Your time to reflect and disconnect. Mini workshop sessions to help with alignment, breath and inversions.

Optional excursion include a game trip to see the big 5, wine tasting, beach day and time to smooch around some local shops.

About me

I'm a 500 Hr Advanced Registered yoga teacher that loves to empower through movement, breath and meditation. I'm a big fan of the beauty and power of the mind and body. Im a creative soul and I have always been spiritual. It wasn't till I had children that I really found myself wanting to share the practice with others. I firmly believe that most of us need tools to help with modern day living. After my two lively and wonderful children came, I felt disconnected to my body and life, I love them endlessly but this was a start of a new phase.

As with many moms tho,  I slowly felt like I was slipping into a pattern of feeling exhausted, lost and resentful.

I felt guilty for these feelings, my babies were my miracles but I just couldn't shake my self doubt, anger and resentment. Through my practice of yoga, my state of mind shifted as my body became stronger , I found that my practice created a calmer, stronger and more grateful self. It brought me back from some dark thoughts.

We all have our own stories and I am honoured to be teaching real people and to be sharing my knowledge and passion with you.

I teach with love for movement and freedom in the body so gratitude, compassion and all the good stuff can be cultivated. Yoga mirrors our personal journey on this planet. I personally want to stay curious, have fun and never stop growing.
