RESTORE & RESET

RETREAT

08 FEB 26

10-6PM

We’re so busy juggling work, family, and all the invisible commitments that we rarely pause to check in with ourselves. With life's pace, its not easy to carve out time to nurture, restore and reset. The truth is that it can lead to feeling out of touch, disconnected - perhaps you are used to ignoring our own needs. The truth is we all need to prioritize our own self care and offer as much tenderness as  as we do for those we love. We are all carrying something heavy—maybe a change of sorts, a broken heart, the loss of someone dear, the pressures of work, or caring for loved ones, or the echoes of old wounds. Sometimes it’s a mix of it all.

This day is especially designed to help let go, reconnect, and find the space you need to move forward - to restore and reset.

Through yoga, a motivational coach, conscious breathing, and sound healing, you’ll release tension, restore balance, and ground yourself in the present moment. On the mat, we’ll practice noticing the breath, the body, and the thoughts as they arise — gently returning again and again to the here and now. With presence comes awareness, and with awareness comes acceptance.

Set at the beautiful Oak House, surrounded by 42 acres at Hatfield House, this day is about slowing down, creating freedom in body and mind, and reconnecting with what matters most.

A full day to heal, connect, and rejuvenate — with yoga, sound, breath, and the company of like-minded spirits.

A full day retreat filled with yoga, conscious breath, nutritious food and beautifully concluded with a sound bath. We greet the morning with a yoga practice to become grounded and then the foundations of the physical practice. We tune into our body with alignment, breath and connection using the art of mindfulness.

We stop for a tasty nutritional lunch and have a open chat  from Victoria Higgins about mindset and positive phycology. .

The afternoon session is lead by Liane Herbert, a breathwork coach, ex Great Britian volleyball player who delivers a technique that allows a deep dive in to breathing.  She facilitates a session with conscious connected/circular breathing, deeply and rhythmically with a specific technique to music that delivers a profound release physically, mentally and emotionally.

.

Then moving on to the sound bath by Graham at Jolly Beats to bring the body back to its natural state of balance and harmony. Relaxing deeper for the the sounds to soothe your nervous system, quiet your mind and alleviate deeply held tension.

Through the sound bath you may experience a loss of body awareness and become so relaxed that you may even have dreams or feeling of elated happiness. You may even dose off which is perfectly fine, being conscious during a sounds bath is not essential. So lie down and just enjoy the vibrations and sounds.

Emerge feeling a new sense of calm, serenity, refreshed and rejuvenated.

About me..

I love music, sunshine, an under dog and kindness. My stepdad was an alcoholic who had many demons, and I watched how it tore his life apart. I know times were way different then and a colourful start to life meant I was intuitive from an early age.

As I went through my adolescent and young adult years I had my fair share of working through self doubt, anger and resentment and it was much later in life that I found yoga. It was the actual teaching that helped me soften, forgive, let go. I am by no means perfect but yoga and mindfulness and the continuant work  has helped me create a shift. I'm no longer angry or hung up about the past. I aim to be more present each day and grateful for the life I have. Sometimes I become undone but keep practicing and no longer beat myself up. My practice helps me create a calmer, stronger and more grateful self. Its brought me back from some dark thoughts.

We all have our own stories and I am honoured to be teaching real people and to be sharing my knowledge and passion with you. I am 500 RYT teacher that teaches with a love for movement and freedom in the body so gratitude, compassion and all the good stuff can be cultivated. The say yoga mirrors our personal journey on this planet and I personally want to stay curious, have fun and never stop growing.
