Nourish & Unwind
17 March

A day retreat filled with yoga, nature, delicious food and beautifully concluded with a sound bath. We greet the morning with a mindfulness practice of sun salutation and build on the foundations of the physical practice. We follow on with a talk from Victoria Higgins about mindset and positive phycology.

We stop for a tasty and nutritional lunch and then, we have time for a walk exploring the surrounding landscapes at this historical location.

The afternoon session is about relaxing our body with a restorative yoga practice of deep relaxation techniques that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga before moving on to the sound bath. The sound bath uses Gongs and Himalayan bowls to bring the body back to its natural state of balance and harmony. Relax and let the sounds soothe your nervous system, quiet your mind, alleviate deeply held tension.

We live in an incredibly busy world and, with taking care of those we love, working tirelessly, and juggling multiple responsibilities, when was the last time you focused on YOU?

This is the perfect opportunity to be looked after, disconnect from it all, ultimately de-stress, unwind, relax, and re energise. Set in a beautiful location, we have chance of connecting to nature and all the possibilities that this carefully designed day will offer.

About Bernie

Im not perfect in any sense but I strongly believe that we all need tools to help us with modern day living. As a child I had a fair share of traumas and yoga and meditation has helped me create a calmer, stronger and more grateful self. Its brought me back from some dark thoughts.

We all have our own stories and I am honoured to be teaching real people and to be sharing my knowledge and passion with you.

I teach with love for movement and freedom in the body so gratitude, compassion and all the good stuff can be cultivated. Yoga mirrors our personal journey on this planet. I personally want to stay curious, have fun and never stop growing.
